 Purchasing Section Minimize

The Purchasing Section is responsible for procuring goods and services necessary for the successful operation of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.  The purchasing procedures emphasize competition between vendors resulting in quality products delivered in a timely manner at competitive prices.
    

The Sheriff's Office utilizes a formal Invitation for Bid and / or Request for Proposal for purchases over $25,000.00 that are not available on government, state and county contracts.  All bids and requests for proposals are advertised in the Legal Classified Section of the Orlando Sentinel.  Any vendor wishing to participate in this competitive process should contact the Purchasing Section at 407-254-7145.

Vendors interested in being placed on the Sheriff's vendor list should submit a written request stating the type of goods or services being offered, as well as other applicable information about their business, to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Purchasing Section, P.O. Box 1440, Orlando, FL 32802.
