The assessors will examine OCSO’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. Many of the standards are critical to life, health and safety issues.
This assessment is a voluntary process to maintain accreditation from the CFA Commission. The OCSO’s accreditation period is for three (3) years. Accreditation is a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency members and the general public are invited to offer written comments to the assessment team.
