The OCSO Reporting System allows you to submit a non-emergency report. You can report the following incidents: Lost Property, Identity Theft, License Plate Lost/Stolen, Vehicle Burglary, Harassing Phone Calls and Vandalism.

Fingerprint Services

Public fingerprinting services are currently suspended until further notice for the health and safety of our community. We apologize for any inconvenience. The agency will resume public fingerprinting services when it is safe to do so.

Citizen's Advisory Committee

The Citizen's Advisory Committee is a nine-member group made up of citizens nominated by the Orange County Mayor, each County Commissioner, the police union, and the Sheriff. Meetings are public and held monthly at OCSO Central Operations.

Commend or Complain About an Employee

As a means of constantly striving to improve police performance and maintain the highest respect from the community, the Orange County Sheriff's Office seeks citizen input for improvement in our services. We welcome citizen commendations of our personnel who admirably perform their duties and encourage questions and/or complaints regarding the agency's performance or the actions of its employees whenever there is a concern.

Behavioral Response Unit (BRU)

OCSO's Newest Addition

What is it?
The Behavioral Response Unit is a Co-Responder Model pilot program in which trained mental health clinicians from Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health are paired with Orange County deputies to respond to calls for service involving mental health crisis. The program was launched December 15, 2020 with two Deputy-Clinician teams. 

The clinicians are mental health professionals and the deputies all are Crisis Intervention Trained (CIT), and have undergone 40 hours of Crisis Intervention Team training. Together, the clinicians and the BRU deputies participated in 40 hours of specialized Behavioral Response Unit training, which took place early December.

Filing an E-Report

for Non-Emergencies

If you need to report a crime, the Orange County Sheriff's Office has an online reporting tool to help you do so. You can report the following types of crime on OCSO.com:

  • Lost property
  • Identity theft
  • Theft
  • Lost or stolen license plate
  • Vehicle burglary
  • Harassing phone calls
  • Vandalism

In order to report a crime online, your situation must meet the following criteria:

  • The crime is not an emergency. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1!
  • Incident occurred in unincorporated Orange County
  • There are no known suspects
  • The incident is not related to a traffic crash
  • You are at least 18 years old
