Major Robert Anzueto - Division Commander

425 North Orange Avenue, Suite 170
Orlando, Florida 32801
(407) 836-4515
Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

The responsibility for the security of all Orange County court facilities, judges, magistrates, jurors, support staff who work out of those facilities, and the general public who enter those facilities, is the primary mission of the Court Security Section.

The Judicial Process Section is responsible for the service and enforcement of all types of official court papers generated by the court system as required by Florida State Statute 30.15 and includes: Summons, Complaints, Subpoenas, Personal Protection Orders, Writs of Possession, Writs of Replevin, Writs of Garnishment, Writs of Attachment, to name a few.

The Criminal Process Section, also under this command, actively investigates persons wanted on warrants issued by the court and works closely with law enforcement agencies throughout the United States for the apprehension of fugitives. At times, subjects take flight to avoid facing the judge for crimes committed and once an individual is located outside of Orange County or Florida, the Extradition Unit begins the process to bring the fugitive back to face prosecution.

The commander of the Court Services and Communications Division is also responsible for the agency's Communications Section. This section handles a high volume of calls from folks requiring assistance from the police, fire and rescue, and/or medical services, making it one of the most critical support functions within the Sheriff's Office. The False Alarm Reduction Program, with a mission to reduce the number of false alarm calls in Orange County, falls under this section.
